Evidence of Model Performance
Many evaluation experts agree that use of the logic model is an effective way to ensure program success. Using a logic model throughout your program helps organize and systematize program planning, management, and evaluation functions. Logic Models are used by institutes, medical centers, universities and many other large groups. Even though they are used in large communities, their goals and results can be as precise and personal as needed. Regardless, the evidence that the logic model is a great resource and tool is apparent across the board. A great reason the logic model is so effective is that it can be adapted to fit any program, challenge, or goal. This model like many others is not nailed down to health specific programs. In fact, a good portion of evidence of logic model success is outside of health. Attached below is an article to illustrate the vast use of the logic model in strictly Health Promotion.
